Mr Fat Bag is a biodegradable, home compostable pouch that soaks up kitchen grease, stopping fatbergs and saving your pipes.

It is made from natural materials that will biodegrade within 30 days of initial use.

It contains fine sawdust to absorb household fat, oil and grease.

Mr Fat Bag was created to combat the "Fatbergs" that accumulate within the sewage system, causing hundreds of millions of pounds of damage yearly. Blocked sewage systems also cause raw sewage to enter our natural water ways, resulting in huge environmental damage to flora and fauna.

The problem of not disposing of household oil properly, has serious economic and environmental effects,
which affects everyone, from householders, companies and our precious countryside and wildlife.

Fatbergs and blockages

Each pouch holds sawdust that soaks up to 500ml of waste Fat, oil and grease. Each year, water companies spend around £100 million, unblocking and repairing pipes damaged by Fat. Households also face costly remedial work and repairs, by fat, oil and grease being poured down kitchen sinks.

Pollution in rivers

Blocked pipes can result in raw sewage entering our rivers and waterways, presenting a danger, not only to aquatic life, birds and mammals, but also to humans. Polluted waterways, can also have a detrimental affect on our agricultural industry, and our food chain.
